Kobliad.
Humanoid species. A genetic deficency in the Kobliad protein deuridium causes short lifespans on the the order of 25-30 years. The Kobliad are known to have a major crime problem related to theft or fraud of deuridium. With proper dosage a Kobliad can live to be well over 100. They have applied for Federation medical assistance but are currently bogged down in Prime Directive. ("The Passenger" [DS9]).

Konom.
Klingon. Konom was an ensign who served aboard a Klingon battlecruiser as helmsman. In 2285 his vessel destroyed the starship Gallant, and later assaulted the starship Enterprise. Konom, shocked at the mindless killing, sent a secret message o warn the Federation forces of their ambush, and later defected to the Enterprise and requested asylum. Admiral Kirk awarded Konom a temporary rank of acting ensign and allowed him to remain aboard his ship. In 2287 Konom was married to Nancy Bryce, an officer aboard the Enterprise. ("The Wormhole Connection" [DC TOS #1]; "Mortal Gods" [DC TOS #5]).

Korezhima, I.K.S.
Klingon battleship, Akif-class battle cruiser. Commanded by Captain Kulain. The Korezhima responded to a distress call from the starship Enterprise, trapped at the asteroid Chatalia in 2269, and attempted to destroy Chatalia because of the death of a Klingon crew there several hundred years earlier. ("World Without End" [Bantam TOS]).

Klingon warship. ("Sons of Mogh" [DS9 #87]).

Cardassian Obsidian Order operative. She acted as observer in the Command Center during the Defiant incident when Commander Sisko was working with Gul Dukat. ("Defiant" [DS9]). Played by Tricia O'Neil.

Klingon monk. ("Rightful Heir" [TNG]). Played by Alan Oppenheimer.

Korsmo, Morgan.
Starfleet officer. Korsmo died in 2373 while commanding the starship Excalibur when it was a part of Admiral Hayes's task force that engaged the Borg at Earth on stardate 50893. In a series of maneuvers designed to lure the Borg ship away from Earth, the Excalibur was caught and severely damaged by a Borg cutting beam. In the attack several members of the crew were killed and Captain Korsmo was severely injured. Rather than go to sickbay, Korsmo stayed on the bridge. His last act was to get his ship clear of the area and out of danger. Commander Shelby assumed command after Korsmo died at his post. Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Captain Morgan Korsmo were friends. They attended the Academy together and later fought the Borg at each other's side, when he had previously commanded the starship Chekov. ("Vendetta" [Pocket TNG Giant #2]; "House of Cards" [Pocket NF #1]).

Aggressive warlike humanoid civilization. The Kreel had warp capability but were somewhat technologically limited. ("Strike Zone" [Pocket TNG]; "Contamination" [Pocket TNG]; "Imzadi" [Pocket TNG HC]; "The Two-Front War" [Pocket NF #3]).

Krenn.
Klingon captain. ("The Final Reflection" [Pocket TOS]).
Krim.
General in Bajoran Militia who was in charge of Bajoran forces defending the Capitol city against the Circle in 2370, accused of withdrawing troops from trouble areas to avoid having to fight. He was sent by Minster Jaro to secure DS9 following the collapse of the Provisional Government. Krim returned control of the station to Starfleet after the fall of the Circle, and was forced to resign shortly after. ("The Homecoming" [DS9]; "The Circle" [DS9]; "The Siege" [DS9]). Played by Stephen Macht.
Kroitz.
Nasgul starship commander. Kroitz was pursuing the vessel of the criminal Argus in 2287. When Argus requested sanctuary aboard the Federation starship Enterprise-A, Kroitz ordered his vessel to collide with the Enterprise, destroying itself. The Enterprise was undamaged. ("The Return" [DC TOS #1]).

Klingon captain, who has only one eye. ("The Stars in Secret Influence" [DC TOS]).

Malon worker aboard the tanker Apsac. Kron died when his vessel was preyed upon by a Hirogen alpha in 2376. ("Demons of Air and Darkness" [Pocket DS9 Gateways]).

Humanoid species. A Ktarian game distributed on Risa in 2368 had the neurological effect of rendering the player a tool of the Ktarian government. With this they planned a takeover of the Federation and other galactic powers. While Ktarian biotechnology is prized on the black market, the exotic technologies are banned as a sanction for their plot. ("The Game" [TNG]).

Klingon, captain of a bird-of-prey. ("Return to Grace" [DS9]). Played by John Kenton Shull.
K'Temoc.
Klingon captain of the I.K.S. T'Ong. ("The Emissary" [TNG #46]). Played by Lance le Gault.

Ketiran, aide to planetary leader Lar'Tok. ("Homeworld" [DC TOS vol.2 Annual #3]).
Kubus Oak.
Former Secretary of the puppet Bajoran government during the Cardassian Occupation. Stationed on Terok Nor, he acted as special liaison with Gul Dukat. Responsible for signing the work orders that sent thousands of Bajorans to the mines and certain death. Kubus was exiled from Bajor in 2369 by the Ilvian Proclamation, where he was number 4 on the list. He attempted to return to Bajor in 2370 after living on Cardassia for over a year, held on DS9 briefly before leaving the Bajoran system. ("The Collaborator" [DS9]). Played by Bert Remsen.

Federation planet that was attacked by the experimental bird of prey I.K.S. Dakronh, commanded by Chang, in 2293. ("The Undiscovered Country" [Pocket TOS Movie #6]).

Kurn.
A Klingon, the son of Mogh and brother to Worf. Kurn was born shortly before his parents death at Khitomer, and had been staying with a friend of the family, Lorgh, at the time of their departure for that world. He was raised believing he was the son of Lorgh, unitl his Age of Ascension when he was told the truth. Kurn joined the Klingon Defense force and attained the rank of commander by 2366. It was in this position that he participated in an officer exchange program in that year, requesting to serve of the Federation starship Enterprise-D so he could meet his long lost brother, Worf. It was during his service that Kurn informed Worf of the Klingon High Council's attempt to dishonor thir family name of Mogh by creating falsehoods about his involvement in the Khitomer disaster, instead of blaming Ja'rod who had betrayed the planet to the Romulans but was head of the powerful House of Duras. Kurn attained his rightful place as a member of the House of Mogh when that fimily's honor was returned to Worf by Gowron in 2268. He was then commanding the I.K.S. Hegh'ta, and after supporting Gowron in the Klingon civil war, gained a seat on the High Council. ("Sins of the Father" [TNG]; "Redemption" [TNG #100&101]; "Sons of Mogh" [DS9]). Played by Tony Todd.
