Administration, a branch of the United States government on Terra that
ws responsible for many of that planets breakthroughs in the field of space
exploration and expliotation for human good in the 20th and 21st centuries.
NASA suffered great cutbacks before and during the Eugenics Wars in the
1990s, and suffered again with the onset of World War III in the 2150s.
After the U.S. secessions, NASA was largely dismantled. ("The Motion
Picture" [Movie #1]).

by yellow skin, black eyes and prominent facial bone structure. The Nasgul
species is led by a religious leader known as the Salla, In the 2280s that
position was unjustly held by Vlagro, who led his people into several holy

Trek). A pre-production study model of one of the Excelsior design

perhaps it could represent a canon design of this registry with a less
ridiculous name.

Registry of a Federation starship,
Constellation-class
exploratory cruiser. A model of this vessel was on display in the ready
room of Captain Picard aboard the starship
Enterprise-D. ("Who
Watches the Watchers?" [TNG]). Most people assume that the model, painted
yellow, in Picard's ready room represents the Stargazer, his former
command, however it bears a different registry (most likely arrived at
by rearranging the decals of an Enterprise NCC-1701 decal sheet).
There could be several resons why Picard has a memento of a ship that wasn't
his former command.

Akira-class heavy cruiser that
was present at the 2373 Borg incursion of the Sol system.
("First Contact"
[Movie #7]). The vessel's name was not revealed in the movie or the script.

that carried Tom Paris to the starship Voyager in 2371. ("Caretaker"
[VGR #1&2]). The ship's name was not visible, but the shuttle was labeled
with this registry, of a ship other than Voyager.

Danube-class,
that was used by Major Kira, Elim Garak, and Damar in their mission to
secure a Breen energy dissipating weapon. ("Tacking Into the Wind" [DS9]).
The runabout's name was not revealed in the episode or the script.

Registry of a Federation scoutship,
Talon-class,
that was the Lt. Cmdr. Data's transport when he visited the Federation
observation site on the Ba'ku planet in 2374. ("Insurrection" [Movie
#9]). Starfleet tradition would seem to indicate that any vessel with an
NCC registry have a proper name, yet this vessel has no visible nomenclature.
Perhaps it was labeled to finely to be seen. The ship's class name is derived
from the Last Unicorn Games RPG sourcebooks.

U.S.S.

Federation starship proposed
during the 23rd century. This vessel's construction was cancelled, and
it's registry was assigned to another vessel. (Technical
Manual [Franz Joseph TOS]; Ships
of the Star Fleet [Mastercom]). It's possible ships of these names
were still built, of different classes and registry numbers. If built,
this ship would have been Achernar-class, with the registry NCC-1758,
according to the manuals.

Nebula-class.

Type of Federation starship,
classified as a heavy cruiser. The Nebula-class was developed in
the 2350s as an offshoot of the Galaxy-class design. More compact
than the Galaxy, the Nebula class is a versatile starship
used for scientific missions, but still posessing superior firepower. The
upper platform is interchangeable and can house an array of sensor, weaponry
or small craft support systems. Ships of this type include the Phoenix,
Farragut,
and presumably, the Nebula.

Starfleet admiral. Admiral Nechayev
is one of the main players at Starfleet command, taking point on the Cardassian
treaty negotaiations in the mid 2360s, notorious for the territory annexes
which led to mass relocations and the splintering of Maquis groups along
the Demilitarized Zone she created. Nechayev also found herself in command
of missions dealing with Borg rebel invasions and Dominion reconnaissance
in 2370. ("Chain of Command" [TNG #136&137]; "Descent" [TNG #152&153];
"Journey's End" [TNG #172]; "The Search" [DS9 #47&48]; "Spectre" [Pocket

assistant on DS9. Attempted to assassinate Vedek Bareil when he made an
unscheduled visit to the station in 2369. Thought to be working for an
extremist religious group, she was captured and tried but would not reveal

[DS9]). Played by Robin Christopher.

species of sentient humanoids, of which Celter and Laheera were members.
Nelkarites are a race of scavengers, their technology and architecture
was a hodgepodge of many styles. They were often lazy and unmotivated,
they piggybacked on accomplishments of others. They appeared angelically
beautiful, were hairless, had golden skin, distended brows and their eyes
had a purple sheen. Nelkar was their homeworld. ("The Two-Front War"
[Pocket NF #3]; "End Game" [Pocket NF #4]).

Nelson-class
-
Type of Federation starship
built in the mid-23rd century, classified as a scout. The Nelson-class
was designed to supplement the capabilities of the older Hermes-class,
and was constructed from the spaceframe of a planned Cochise-class
vessel. When first commissioned, these scouts were at the forefront of
Federation technology. Ships of this class include the Nelson, Providence,
Brazzaville,
Sager,
Moisanen
and Manzer. (Federation Ship Recognition Manual [FASA RPG]; Star
Fleet Technical Manual [Franz Joseph Designs]). The FASA sourcebook pictured
this vessel, a variant of the Franz Joseph
Saladin design with two
connecting struts to the nacelle rather than one. The graphic in the book
also had an odd detail, the lack of the attractor coils of the Bussard
collector's forward nacelle cap. I have assumed this modification is actually
part of the ships structure in my graphic. However, I did alter the design
to include an outboard deflector dish like its sister ships in the Saladin
and Hermes-classes.

Federation starship, prototype
of the Nelson-class scout, Starfleet registry NCC-546. This vessel
was planned to be constructed as a Cochise-class destroyer, authorized
by a Starfleet appropriation of stardate 4699. This vessel was later decided
to be constructed as the prototype of a new type of scouts, an advanced
technology model designed to supplement the aging technologies of the Hermes-class
and related types of vessels. ("Flesh of My Flesh" [Marvel EV #1]; "The
Fallen" [Marvel EV #10&11]).

Federation starship, a dreadnought
type vessel in the mid to late 23rd century. This ship had a complement
was over 500 crewpeople, and was armed with six phaser emplacements and
eight launch tubes. ("Flesh of My Flesh" [Marvel EV #1]; "The Fallen"
[Marvel EV #10&11]; Begin Tactical Starship Simulator [Clockwork Software]).
The Early Voyages comic depicted the Nelson as a saucer with four warp
nacelles attached to it, partially fitting the composition of a possible
dreadnought design, so I have concluded that it might represent the ship
from the Begin game.

NCC-57295 and, presumably, the
New Orleans. ("Conspiracy" [TNG]; "The
Best of Both Worlds" [TNG]). The New Orleans class was mentioned in "Conspiracy"
and not shown, and was later built as a damaged filming model for the Wolf
359 battle scene. The ship was made with pieces of a AMT/ERTL Galaxy-class
model, with the windows and bridge modified to make it appear to be half
